## About

**Badam Ladoo**, also known as almond laddu, is a healthy and tasty Indian sweet. It uses almonds as the main ingredient and provides a rich source of protein and good fats. People prefer it as a guilt-free dessert for regular snacking and special occasions. It offers a healthier choice when traditional sweets are often loaded with sugar and ghee. This laddu requires only a few simple ingredients: roasted almond powder, powdered sugar, and a little ghee. It is very easy to prepare and does not require sugar syrup. This makes shaping the laddus easier and more uniform. You can use powdered jaggery instead of sugar for a healthier brown version. These laddus are perfect for health-conscious people and kids.

**Almond laddus** have a long shelf life and stay fresh in airtight containers for several days. They are ideal for festivals, gifting, or lunchbox treats. Many households prepare them in batches to enjoy throughout the week. They also travel well and are easy to pack. You can serve them at room temperature without losing taste or texture. The smooth and soft texture melts in your mouth. Adding cardamom or dry fruits enhances the flavour. You can also blend them with dates for natural sweetness and fibre. These laddus are a great way to enjoy sweets without worrying too much about calories.

**Fun Fact:**

<Note>
  Almond laddus were once made by royals as energy bites during long journeys. Today, fitness enthusiasts and parents love them for their energy-boosting and nourishing properties.
