## About

**Instant Ragi Dosa** is a simple, healthy South Indian dosa recipe made with ragi, rice, and rava flour. People commonly refer to the dish as finger millet dosa because they recognise its health advantages. Many households use this dish as a quick meal which they can prepare during their busy times. People consider millet-based dosa recipes to be weight-loss dishes because they help extend satiety. People use these recipes to create balanced dietary plans. All recipes that contain millet have naturally low glycemic index values, making them safe for people with diabetes or high cholesterol. Families who care about their nutrition use ragi dosa as a regular dish for their meals. The dish gains additional flavour from the earthy taste of ragi. The dosa provides both nutritious value and a comforting experience.

**The Instant Ragi Dosa recipe** has multiple preparation methods, but most people choose the one that is easiest for them to cook. The instant method requires only the basic steps of cooking, without any preparation, soaking, or fermentation. Cooks use the instant method to create dosas after making their batter. The recipe allows for traditional preparation, which involves both soaking and grinding. The batter needs fermentation to develop its flavour while providing material for making soft or crispy dosas. The instant version requires only ragi flour, as it involves no extra steps. People still prefer to use rice or rava flour because these ingredients make their food taste better and have a better texture. The batter spreads easily on the pan, resulting in uniform cooking throughout the surface.

**Fun Fact:**

<Note>
  Ragi has been cultivated in India for thousands of years and is considered one of the oldest known millets used in traditional cooking.
