## About

It is basically an extended version of the simple roti or chapati recipe made with milk solids or milk powder added to wheat flour. It is added to make it more creamy and softer with a hint of sweetness to the roti. **Milk roti** or **doodh roti** is a common flatbread recipe that is typically prepared for any occasion as a premium version of plain roti. There are myriad versions of this simple roti, but the most popular one is to make it layered or lacchedar using the fold-and-roll method.

The traditional way to make this roti is by adding milk solids of spoilt milk with egg yolk to the wheat flour. This makes it super soft and creamy. However, this recipe uses a better ingredient, i.e. milk powder which makes it instant. Moreover, the best way to serve this roti is with any gravy-based curries which makes it a perfect meal lunch or dinner combo. In conclusion, this roti can be a perfect alternative to the monotonous chapati or roti and can be served with any gravy based curry.

## Notes

* Firstly, adding milk makes the roti flavourful and super soft.

* Also, milk powder gives nice creaminess to the chapathi. you can alternatively add khova.

* Additionally, if you are using maida in place of wheat flour, the roti will taste great.

* Finally, **Milk Roti Recipe** tastes great when served with honey or butter for kids.
