## About

It is an easy and simple handy spice mix powder recipe, that can be added to any Indian sabzi curry to make it better. In other words, **Sabji Masala premix powder** contains a range of spice mixes which when added to curry gives the necessary texture, taste, and flavor. The powder can be added to a wide range of curries including dry and gravy-based curries and thus making it a multipurpose spice mix powder.

The recipe for **Sabji Masala** is not rocket science and has been around for quite some time. As a matter of fact, there are many commercially available brands that offer similar tastes and flavors. However, the taste and more importantly the content it offers of making at home is unmatchable. In addition, the recipe is fully customizable and hence can be matched to any individual taste and preferences.

## Ingredients

* 2 tsp oil
* 7 cloves garlic
* 1 cup peanut
* 2 tbsp dry coconut
* few curry leaves
* ½ cup coriander seeds
* 2 tbsp cumin
* 1 tbsp fennel
* ¼ cup sesame
* ¼ cup chilli powder
* 1 tbsp turmeric
* 2 tbsp aamchur
* 1 tbsp garam masala
* ¼ cup kasuri methi
* 2 tbsp sesame
* 2 tbsp salt

## Instructions

1. Firstly, in a pan heat 2 tsp oil and roast 7 cloves garlic until it turns golden brown.
2. Add 1 cup peanut and roast until it turns crunchy.
3. Now add 2 tbsp dry coconut and few curry leaves.
4. Keeping the flame on low, roast until it turns golden brown.
5. Transfer to a plate and allow to cool completely.
6. In a pan take ½ cup coriander seeds, 2 tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp fennel, and ¼ cup sesame.
7. Roast on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
8. Cool completely, and grind to a coarse powder.
9. Transfer the powder to a large bowl.
10. Add ¼ cup chilli powder, 1 tbsp turmeric, 2 tbsp aamchur, 1 tbsp garam masala, ¼ cup kasuri methi, 2 tbsp sesame, and 2 tbsp salt.
11. Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
12. You can use this sabji masala mix to prepare any dry sabzi or bharwa sabji.
13. Finally, store the Sabji Masala Recipe in an airtight container.

## Notes

* Firstly, roast the spices on low flame to prevent them from burning.

* Also, you can use fresh spices instead of adding garam masala.

* Additionally, I have added salt to the masala mix, so do not add any extra salt while making sabzi.

* Finally, **Sabji Masala Recipe** can also be used to prepare any **Bharwa Masala Sabji**.
