Ingredients

for dalgona coffee mixture:

  • ¼ cup instant coffee powder
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder (for chocolatey flavour)

for serving:

  • few ice cubes
  • 2 cup milk (chilled)

Instructions

dalgona mixture preparation:

  1. firstly, in a large bowl take ¼ cup instant coffee powder and ¼ cup sugar.
  2. also, add 3 tbsp hot water and mix well.
  3. mix well making sure everything is well combined.
  4. now using a beater or whisk, beat on low speed.
  5. make sure to beat in one direction so that air incorporates well.
  6. continue to beat until the mixture lightens and thickens.
  7. after 7-8 minutes the mixture turns creamy forming a smooth silky texture.
  8. finally, dalgona mixture is ready, keep aside.

  1. in a large glass add few ice cubes.
  2. pour 1 cup of chilled milk, filling ¾ of the mug.
  3. drop in 2 tbsp of prepared dalgona mixture slowly.
  4. spread uniformly so that it covers entire glass.
  5. finally, dalgona coffee is ready to enjoy.

  1. firstly, in a small bowl take 2 tbsp of prepared dalgona mixture.
  2. add in a tsp of cocoa powder and mix well.

  • firstly, use instant coffee powder and do not try to attempt this recipe with coffee bean powder.
  • also, adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness you are looking for.
  • additionally, beat on low speed to get a silky smooth consistency.
  • finally, dalgona coffee recipe can also be prepared with hot milk.
