About
Traditionally, cooks prepare Til Ladoo during festivals and fasts. Many households call it Ellu Unde or Sesame Peanut Ladoo. This sweet works as a simple energy booster snack. Because sesame and peanuts are rich in good fats and minerals, they feel nourishing. Families serve it during celebrations and vrat days for sustained energy. The recipe stays easy and quick for home kitchens. Minimal ingredients keep prep focused and reliable. Jaggery brings minerals and gentle sweetness. Natural sugars make it a clean-tasting dessert. People enjoy it after meals without feeling guilty about the high-calorie foods. Start by dry roasting sesame until nutty and aromatic. Grind roasted peanuts to a slightly coarse powder. Melt jaggery with a splash of water and cook to a soft ball stage. Stir in sesame and peanut powder to form a warm mixture. Mix quickly so the mass binds before it cools. The combination of jaggery, sesame, and peanut creates a classical dessert with natural sweetness. You can make it with only sesame if needed. Adding peanuts helps bind and shape into firm ladoos. Peanut powder also adds extra flavour and moistness to each bite. Roll small portions into balls and let them set before storage. Fun Fact:Many families say that sharing sesame sweets during Makar Sankranti brings warmth and goodwill throughout the season.
