About
It is a simple and easy instant dosa recipe that carries the same crisp and flaky texture of rava dosa with a twist of tomatoes. In short, Tomato Dosa or Thakkali dosa is a popular choice in many South Indian households. The texture and crispiness are very similar to the rava dosa, but the addition of juicy tomatoes adds a different taste and flavor. But the main selling point is the dosa batter is prepared without any fermentation and hence takes just minutes to prepare. There are many different variations to the simple Instant Tomato Dosa recipe. The common way is to make it by adding tomato puree to the rava dosa batter. This makes it a crisp, thin, and flaky dosa. - Additionally, you can also add maida for the batter to help in binding.
- Finally, the crispy Tomato Dosa Recipe tastes great when served hot with spicy chutney.
