About

Ragi roti, also known as ragi rotti or nachni roti, is a powerhouse breakfast dish that you must include in your millet-based meal plans. South Indian kitchens often begin the day with this earthy, wholesome flatbread, which not only tastes great but also offers a range of health benefits. Ragi helps reduce cholesterol, keeps your carb intake in check, and supports healthy weight loss. These rotis keep you full for longer, making them a perfect choice not just for breakfast but even for a light lunch or dinner. Pair them with coconut chutney, chutney pudi, or even a humble black-eyed bean curry for a comforting, home-style meal. Ragi rotti comes in two tasty versions—soft, like a chapati, or crisp and crunchy, like a snack. Regularly adding it to your diet helps manage weight, improve digestion, and regulate blood sugar levels. It’s quick to prepare and keeps you full for hours. You can enhance the taste by adding onions, green chillies, grated carrots, or even fresh herbs. Serve it with coconut chutney, chutney pudi, or a simple bean curry for a wholesome, satisfying meal.
