About
Soya chunks cutlet, also known as soya tikki, is a wholesome snack packed with protein and nutrients. Unlike most deep-fried snacks that are only satisfying to the taste buds, this cutlet offers a healthy alternative that complements our usually carb-rich diet. It uses rehydrated soya chunks, mashed potatoes, and a few Indian spices to make a tasty and guilt-free option for snack lovers. The outer crust is crisp, while the inside is soft and nourishing — a perfect combination for both taste and health. Many people believe soya-based recipes are bland and uninspiring, but this tikki breaks that myth. When pan-fried or air-fried to perfection, and served with green chutney or ketchup, Soya chunks cutlet becomes irresistibly delicious. Although it’s considered a snack, when shaped into a patty and used in sandwiches or burgers, it becomes surprisingly filling. That makes it a great dinner choice for busy evenings or lazy weekends when you want something light, nutritious, and quick, without compromising on flavour.Ingredients

Notes
- You may use a pressure cooker to boil the soya chunks so that they can be smashed easily.
- Make sure to squeeze the soya after boiling. Otherwise, it would not be easy to make the cutlet patty.
- You can alternatively blend the soaked soya chunks into a coarse paste.
- You can also use soya granules in place of soya chunks to avoid smashing soyas.
- To make it healthier, you can also add boiled carrots, corn and peas or vegetables of your choice.
