Ingredients

  • ¾ cup badam / almonds
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cup milk powder
  • 2 tbsp kesar milk
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • badam (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Firstly, in a mixer jar take 1 cup badam and grind to a fine powder. Keep aside.
  2. In a kadai take ¾ cup milk, ½ cup sugar, 2 cup milk powder and mix well.
  3. Mix until everything is well combined, keeping the flame on low.
  4. Add 2 tbsp kesar milk and continue to cook on low flame.
  5. The mixture starts to thicken and forms a dough consistency.
  6. Add 1 tsp ghee, and ½ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
  7. Continue to cook until the mixture starts to separate the pan and turns non-sticky.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a butterpaper and knead slightly, to form a soft dough.
  9. Now take a ball-sized dough and shape to square or of your choice.
  10. Garnish with badam and is ready to serve.
