Tips
The recipe is super simple with basic ingredients used to prepare this beverage drink. Yet some simple and mandatory tips to make it perfect are –- Yogurt Quality – The yogurt has to be fresh and creamy so that the final beverage is rich and creamy. Avoid using sour curd or yogurt as it may end up tasting like a sour lassi drink.
- Texture – It has to be thick and yet flowing in texture. Also, be sure to prepare a smooth mango puree before it is mixed with yogurt.
- Sweetness – Typically 1-2 spoonfuls of sugar is more than sufficient while preparing this beverage. However, depending on the mango’s sweetness level and the yogurt’s sourness, you may have to increase or decrease the sugar quantity.
- Variations – With mango puree, you may also add additional flavoring agents like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberries. Also, you may add a pinch of chili powder to make it a sweet and spicy drink.
- Servings – It is typically served chilled. You may add some ice cubes or crushed ice to make it a thick texture.
Notes
- Firstly, adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of the mango.
- Also, use thick and creamy curd for the best texture.
- Additionally, serve the lassi chilled on hot summer days.
- Finally, Mango Lassi Recipe tastes great when the flavour of sweetness and sourness is balanced.
