Firstly, in a bowl take 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp water, 1 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp salt.

Mix well making sure everything is well combined.

Further add ¼ cup white sesame seeds, ¼ cup black sesame seeds, ¼ cup fennel seeds, ¼ cup pumpkin seeds, ¼ cup sunflower seeds, ¼ cup flaxseeds and ¼ cup chia seeds.

Allow the seeds to soak for 30 minutes so that the seeds turn moist from the inside.

After 30 minutes, the water was well absorbed by the seeds.

Transfer the soaked seeds to the heavy pan and roast on low flame.

Continue to roast on low flame until the seeds turn dry.

Once the seeds are almost dried, add ½ tsp ajwain.

Continue to roast until the seeds turn crunchy and dry off completely.

Cool the seeds and transfer them to the airtight container.

- Firstly, you can use the seeds of your choice to make the mukhwas nutritious.
- Also, if you are doing it in large quantities, soak the seeds separately as each seed differs in roasting time.
