About
It is basically an extended version of a plain naan bread recipe with a stuffing of pizza blend cheese to make it more filling and interesting. In other words, the traditional naan dough recipe is stuffed with cheese before it is roasted in tandoor or tawa. It can be an ideal replacement for the monotonous plain roti or naan bread with the goodness of cheese in it. Cheese naan is typically prepared in the tandoor oven, but this recipe uses plain cooking tawa and roasts it using upside-down cooking. Traditionally, naan bread is made with just plain flour and yeast combination, but there are different ways to make this bread. The most common way to make this is by using plain flour and baking soda combination. Baking soda is easily available in any store and more importantly, does not require any additional activating agent. Hence the same combination is used in this Tandoori Roti Nan Cheese and thus making a traditional recipe slightly modern.Ingredients
